Sunny month with some frosty mornings and cold evenings.  Work continues with maintenance on the land.  Some fallen trees were chipped for use around the vegetable beds.  Grass cutting started with the new grass growing and the wisteria shrubs were pruned and reshaped.

Weeding continues in the vegetable and mandala garden and dead plants removed.  Also the herb garden is being pruned and weeded.  This month has been a big push for seed sowing so most of our saved seeds from last year were used and placed in the polytunnel to grow.  Polytunnel weeding has also taken place with some vegetables and salad crops planted.

Heather built a yoga/meditation circle in one of the fields with various flowering trees and shrubs surrounding it.

Stuart continues to work on rebuilding the porch and working on his dome porch.

A friend came to visit for a few days and was also helpful with some of the tasks around the place.  One night we had a large bonfire using up old wood to celebrate the Spring Solstice with some friends.
